Greetings gentile Pub and indeed quiz Goers,

I'm planning on making this a semi-permanent event.

Nice simple format (30 questions of varying difficulty & areas, with 5 pictures to identify in there too). And I like the idea of a gentle Sunday night drink :)

No obvious limit on team size (which makes sorting out teams easier) though I suspect it needs to be sensible.

£1 entry per person. There's some prizes if we do well but I doubt we'll ever need to worry about that :)

The quiz starts at 9.00pm, so we should get there before that (8.00).

Remember the later you turn up, the less likely you are to get a seat - I'll be  there 8.00 sharp! Let me know if you do plan to be later. Even better, let me know if you definitely plan to be on time.

Here's the website of The Goat (http://www.goatinn.co.uk/). Always a good range of beers & other drinks, including the very dangerous 'Old Rosie" cider (7.3% - approach with caution :). They also have a cute cat :)

Here's a link to a location map for the Goat: http://tinyurl.com/nenoax2

The Goat has, alledgedly, started doing Thai Food (on a Sunday night amongst othrrs), I've no direct evidence of that yet, so approach with caution.

I'll be aiming for the back of the pub (no TVs!) and will be wearing an easily identifiable T-Shirt :

Any problems finding us in the pub, phone/text me on[masked]

Cheers

Pete

BTW - the St Albans 30 something's group is quizzing too (http://www.meetup.com/St-Albans...)
So, it'll be doubly good :)))
