The purpose is to play co-ed indoor volleyball with other enthusiasts. While the primary affinity group consists of St. Francis of Assisi parishoners, you don't have to be a parishoner or even Catholic to participate.

Anyone who is interested in more recreational/less competitive playing environment should join this group. You shouldn't join if you aren't comfortable with playing with people with a variety of volleyball skill levels.

Two nets are available to accommodate 24 players. The level of play includes recreational, intermediate, advanced intermediate, and advanced. The advanced intermediate and advanced players would be familiar with 6-2, 5-1 offenses and set calls, but you do not need to know those plays to participate. Sets are self-officiated and any play infractions are on your honor like net violations, ball-handling issues, and foot faults. The age range spans high school students through baby boomers.

Because it takes a little while for enough players to spread out over two courts, we all start playing on one court and rotate players in as needed.  Once the first "match" is over, there are usually enough players to then spread out over two courts.

All are welcome, but play at your own risk! Any children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

Have fun!
