We will be kicking off this new version of the group, now open to all Apple professionals in addition to our Support Pro regulars. Based on the turnout so far, we will do some initial introductions and reiterate goals for the group, as well as cover possible changes to venue and schedule.
The main topic is the current state of the Apple ecosystem, as we prepare for Macworld/iWorld at month's end and look ahead to likely developments: updates to Mac OS X and iOS, a promised refresh of the Mac Pro, etc.
Are creative pros still a target audience? What are the practical uses for the new Server app? We'll discuss these and more!
Follow-up from our discussion: Stanford has started their next iOS development course, and registration (through Piazza + iTunes U) is open through Feb 1. Details at [http://www.tuaw.com/2013/01/24/...

Thanks for the note about it being in Clayton. I was just assuming we'd be back in Webster again.

Update: I have semi-reserved the back room at CJ Mugg's, with seating for 10 to start, and they should be aware of the group if you ask where the Apple Professionals are meeting. Also, for Support Pro vets - note that this is the Clayton location, not the one in Webster Groves where we've met in the past.

Unfortunately I already have several events scheduled and will be unable to attend.
