Let's talk Bitcoin, County Edition

This meetup is for those further out west that have difficulty making it to the meetup in the city. It also gives us another opportunity to create a relationship with a local business.

OK, Thanks for hosting us Trainwreck, but the conversation came to a halt when the band lit up. We won't do that combination of time and venue again for this type of meeting.

So, I'm working on setting up an "official" site for a coast-to-coast bicycle ride that I want to do to raise money for children's cancer research, while also promoting Bitcoin. I have BikingforBitcoin.com (and a few others that are similar). I'd like to raise some initial money for the project so that I can produce some nice video for a KickStarter/IndieGogo campaign. I'd like to hire a videographer to make a documentary out of it, as one example of how bitcoin/cryptocurrencies can benefit society.

I'm going to set up a donation page - is anybody aware of a service/wordpress plug-in/etc. that allows for donations for more than one type of cryptocurrency? I know my domain says bitcoin, but I'd like to be able to accept a few others without having a really long page of receiving addresses.

Also, any suggestions for best way to promote to Bitcoin community would be most appreciated!

    Thanks!
    Adam

Found this article this morning and thought I would share it if anyone hadn't read it or seen it yet.

Wait - when did location change? I've been telling people Granite City - meetup listed Granite City until very recently.

Changed on Monday since we didn't have the room at Granite City. We'll be sure to have the room reservation in earlier next month (unless someone wants to find me a Bitcoin taking place in West County for April!)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
