IGDA: Stuart Keating presents "Developing Tabletop Games"

Join Stuart Keating of Dioxin Dump Games ( ) for a talk about developing tabletop games at the Saint Louis Science Center!

Stuart will spend an hour talking at you about the history of "physical" games and how the design goals, economics and marketing differ from video games. We'll stop for questions every ten minutes and he'll do his best to sound like an expert.

NOTE: Please park in the main parking lot and enter through the main entrance. The event will be held in the AB Classroom in the Lower Level of the Main Building.

Great event! I really came away with much more than I thought going into it. Great place to network and meet other game designer and hear first hand about what's happening in the STL gaming community. I will continue to attend future IGDA events for sure!

The speaker, Stuart Keating, was an excellent speaker with a wealth of quality advice, and hilarious comments! I would listen to him speak anytime. I will definitely be attending future IGDA events!

This meetup was a grand old time. My only criticism is that the topic covered may have been a bit too broad. It might have been better with a deep dive into a specific aspect, but Stuart was a great speaker and I learned a lot. Please tell me how to give Stewart money!

Hey guys, just to reiterate what's in the description:

Please park in the MAIN parking lot (it's free after-hours) and enter through the main entrance.

The event will be held in the "AB Classroom" in the Lower Level of the Main Building (right in front of the giant dinosaurs).

I noticed in this group that there is a "Print Ticket" link at the top of each event. Is that just for informational purposes for directions, or do we need to bring a copy of this to the meetup?

      No tickets needed!
