I grew up in Southern Jefferson county Missouri, near DeSoto. So spent half my time on farms, and half in cities. Went into the Marines one month after graduating high school. Got out when first contract was up do to the physical drain and damage to my body. When to a community college with my mind focused on architectural drafting and design, but realized I would only see a few of the things I created become real.
The only way to get batter at anything is though practice, and you tend to get worse if you don't have something to measure what your abilities against. By being part of this group I will have people to practice with, and measure my own abilities against.
A multiplayer game where each player has the choice of playing either as a solo hermit, or as part of a tribe. Instead of a focus on leveling up, it would be about survival of either your self or the tribe through hunting, foraging, and crafting.
I already understand the fact that one person tends to lack all the skills required for making good games, and I have started to see some of the skill areas where I am lacking the most. I am yet to learn where I am the strongest at developing games and game concepts. By working with others, I hope to be able to create some of the games I want to design, and help others figure out and create the games they want to make.
Pie. My stomach does better with real fruit.
I am almost as ordinary as my name, but I do like to think about things that could have shaped the world differently, and what things look like when you take time to look at them from several angles.
Seems to be a good way to expand my knowledge of what goes into making a game, and helping me to improve my skills in making games.
