Any information helps. I would love to see first hand (and participate) in group discussions and planning for a game. Even watching some people model in action would help, every little bit does.
My ideal video game is something that has a story that is more than just serviceable, it would be good. Character depth, growth, a plot that makes sense and events that make people feel something for the characters. Game play itself would vary. Ideally, I would aim for something close ranged combat based. It would have a realistic feel to the way the swords move and interact with another character. Say you hit someone's arm; the opponent's arm takes damage to that particular area and it would register as such. Or, perhaps a true horror game. The tone and setting set the stage, and you are not running and gunning.
To learn as much as I can from people who have far more experience than myself.
I prefer cake, but I like pie too. If it is banana creme, I am all for it.
Hello, my name is Michael Davidson and I aim to be a game designer who revolutionizes the industry itself...of course, baby steps come first! Currently, I am looking for internships or anything such as this relating to game design so I may learn.
