Interactive Visualization and Publishing Data using R (rCharts)

This will be a continuation of the July presentation. We will do a brief review of ggvis then move right into rCharts.

Description: Afterwards, there will be a demonstration of rCharts package, which is used to develop javaScript visualizations of data with an option to publish them on a web page, embed in Shiny application or blog post/ tutorial.

An introductory knowledge of R ( is recommended, but not required.

    Hi Jim, yes, that's advisable to bring a laptop with R and rCharts installed, if you would like to follow the presentation. However, it's not mandatory, because all the examples will be run during the Meetup.
