This event can be a 1 or 2 day road trip or a several day camp Please check out the cornerstone site and let me know if you would be interested in one over the other by posting a maybe or yes response. If not interested at all please post no.
Its around 3 hours to get to Cornerstone. There are porta potties and they do have showers in semi trucks that are free. Wear flip flops. There is a lake that you can swim, canoe, etc... Bring your Bible and notebook as there are seminars you can choose to attend. The bands start around noon each day and end around 2 am. Deon usually camps in the back, close to the main stage, but it is a bit of a walk up to where the action is. There is a grocery tent out there, you can buy your food from different vendors if you don't want to cook. The Pasta Palace is a favorite. They prefer you don't have an open fire so bring grills and cook stoves. Deon has a cook stove so we are set there. Bring money for CDS, T-shirts, etc... There are three big tents full of merchandise. Its fun to walk through it all. We can save some spots if people are coming out later, there is room to camp. Deon Hopes to be there Wednesday night when the first main stage event starts it would be great if another female could go with her. There are water spikets everywhere, bring a few gallons of water for drinking. Water from the taps doesn't taste very good. There is sand volleyball, (we could have our own team), there is a race one morning for those of you who like to run, we could ride our bikes into town (Bushnell) and look around or buy supplies. Bring tennis shoes because there is lots of walking. Praise and Worship on the beach late at night. Its sooo fun. Its relaxing to lay out at night after the main stage is done and just look for shooting stars. They can always be seen. Everyone should bring a flashlight. more updates soon

Now approaching its 25th season, Cornerstone has earned its reputation as one of the most relevant and best organized festivals of its kind.
More About The Fest
The Cornerstone Festival used to be primarily be about the music , but there has been a commitment in recent years to emphasize the arts in general. There are art galleries, art classes, writer's workshops, film festivals, and seminars galore.
And even if you aren't much into Christian music, art or teaching, Cornerstone Festival is held on a beautiful, 550 acre piece of land that is truly breathtaking. Swimming, hiking, fishing, and other outdoorsy opportunities abound. The property is so big that you can pretty much choose how involved you want to be with the fest!

Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, Anberlin, Brian Head Welch (with full band this time), Relient K, Family Force 5, Emery, Red, Hawk Nelson, Living Sacrifice and many more names to come.
