Surf & Turf expedition on the Lower Manatee River. Paddle, walk or both.

  • Werner's Bayou Boat Ramp

5800 Riverviue Blvd, Bradenton, FL (map)

    27.509926 -82.618057

  • We will be at the ramp or call Wesley[masked]
  • On this expedition we'll launch from the ramp and paddle ( or take the electric river boat) to Riverview Pointe Preserve before crossing the river to Emerson Point. Take the time to explore the shaded walking trails at each stop while I stand watch over our fleet so nothing goes missing while you explore.

Rentals available but limited: Book a seat on one of the electric river boats or a paddle cat (kayak like craft but more stable) for $35.00 call Wesley to book your spot[masked]

Want to join us for the hike but not the paddle? simply meet us at 8250 Desoto Memorial Hwy and find us at the beach around 10:30 am

About the trip: This is all open water paddling.  We will be hugging the shore on our way to the first stop about 2 miles down river where you can hike as long as you like. I plan to have a bite to eat before heading across the river. Crossing the river you should expect a bit of current and boat wakes. We will be heading back to the ramp after Emerson point and as always, our electric boats serve as emergency assist should you need a tow.

Fees: There are no ramp or park fees. No guide fee but a $5.00 tip for the guy who sits with the fleet while you explore would be appreciated.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
