Spin into the Setting Sun

The evenings are now long enough for the weekly 20 mile spin after work ride, this year these rides will be on WEDNESDAY nights!.

We will roll out from Left Hand Brewery on Boston Avenue, and depending on who shows up there is the possibility of 2 groups:

GROUP 1 @ 5.30PM: This group will be at a medium pace (15 to 17mph average - slower on Greenway, faster on roads), distance will be 20 to 25 miles.

GROUP 2 @ 5.30PM: This group will be at a slower pace (12 to 15mph average), and will generally cover 20+/- miles, time & pace permitting.

Both rides are best suited for Road Bikes, and people with experience riding on the road with traffic.

Both Rides will be "NO DROP", we will try to keep everyone together, but in the event some are faster/slower, we will stop and re-group at intervals.

RIDE NOTES: Rides will roll out no more than 5 minutes after the advertised start time, please arrive early and be ready to roll on time.

- Come prepared for mechanical breakdowns (bring spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, multi-tool).

- Be sure to bring enough water for the length of the ride, especially with warmer weather ahead of us. As a general rule, one bottle of water is good for 1 hour of riding (8oz per 20 mins of ride time).

DISCLAIMER: We try to ensure the safest cycling experience on all of our rides, but cycling does come with some risk. Our ride leaders are all volunteers, not professional guides. Each member accepts responsibility for their own conduct and safety (including the safety of your bicycle and any other equipment) during club rides. You take part in club rides entirely at your own risk.

Yes, Matt, show up at Left Hand near the bike rack - then just look across the street - we'll be sure to find you.

Tonight, let's meet across the street from where we usually congregate - so, just north across the street - look for folks on road bikes! Also, Group 2 will start out on the Greenway to Airport Road.
