Spin into the Setting Sun

The evenings are now long enough for the weekly 20 mile spin after work ride, this year these rides will be on WEDNESDAY nights!.

We will roll out from Left Hand Brewery on Boston Avenue, and depending on who shows up there is the possibility of 2 groups:

GROUP 1 @ 5.30PM: This group will be at a medium pace (15 to 17mph average), and distance will be 20 to 25 miles.

GROUP 2 @ 5.30PM: This group will be at a bit slower pace (13 to 15mph average), and distance will be 20 to 25 miles.

Both rides are best suited for Road Bikes, and people with experience riding on the road with traffic.

Both Rides will be "NO DROP", we will try to keep everyone together, but in the event some are faster/slower, we will stop and re-group at intervals.

RIDE NOTES: Rides will roll out no more than 5 minutes after the advertised start time, please arrive early and be ready to roll on time.

- Come prepared for mechanical breakdowns (bring spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, multi-tool).

- Be sure to bring enough water for the length of the ride, especially with warmer weather ahead of us. As a general rule, one bottle of water is good for 1 hour of riding (8oz per 20 mins of ride time).

DISCLAIMER: We try to ensure the safest cycling experience on all of our rides, but cycling does come with some risk. Our ride leaders are all volunteers, not professional guides. Each member accepts responsibility for their own conduct and safety (including the safety of your bicycle and any other equipment) during club rides. You take part in club rides entirely at your own risk.

It was my first ride with the group. I had a good time. Appreaciated the fact that you don`t get left behind. Got back in time to do a spin class @ breakaway.

Enjoyed having you ride with us, Marsha! Can't believe you did a spin class at BreakAway after the spin ride! You're amazing. Hope your busy schedule allows you to ride with us more often!
