WHAT: The evenings have plenty of light now for the weekly WEDNESDAY 20-25 mile ride. Route information will be announced in the comments section below.

We roll out from Left Hand Brewery on Boston Avenue. Depending on how many riders and/or ride leaders, we will ride in 2 or 3 groups:

GROUP Abici: This group will be at a faster pace                                                     (17 to 19mph average).

GROUP Basso: This group will be at a medium/fast pace                                           (15 to 17mph average).

GROUP Cinelli: This group will be at a medium pace                                                 (13 to 15mph average).

This ride is best suited for Road Bikes, and people with experience riding on the road with traffic.

Both Rides will be "NO DROP", we will try to keep everyone together, but in the event some are faster/slower, we will stop and re-group at intervals.

RIDE NOTES: Rides roll out no more than 5 minutes after advertised start time, arrive early and be ready to roll on time.

- Come prepared for mechanical breakdowns (bring spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, multi-tool).

- Be sure to bring enough water for the length of the ride, especially with warmer weather ahead of us. As a general rule, one bottle of water is good for 1 hour of riding (8oz per 20 mins of ride time).

DISCLAIMER: We try to ensure the safest cycling experience on all of our rides, but cycling does come with some risk. Our ride leaders are all volunteers, not professional guides. Each member accepts responsibility for their own conduct and safety (including the safety of your bicycle and any other equipment) during club rides. You take part in club rides entirely at your own risk.

Yes Paul rode it last Thurs before he joined us in the evening, he said it was open!. If it is closed, then we will just ride up Neva road and do a out and back!.

Scouted 63 this morning and its definitely open. Bike lane on west side (southbound) is closed at the new bridge near Modena Lane, but that won't impact our ride at all and would have almost no impact if we were riding the other direction.

Folks, I have ridden the length of Boston Ave, and checked all surrounding roads for access to Left Hand via a Bike or car. First up, the road is surprisingly clear of debris, and relatively dust free!.

Boston Ave heading West is pretty quiet, BUT, heading East it is busy since it IS a cut through whilst Sunset St remains closed. This does not affect us particularly, since we head out to the West, but may affect those driving in at 5.30pm.

    S. Francis St (just west of Left hand) connecting Boston with Price/Nelson IS OPEN!. The footbridge over St. Vrain Creek on Price St is also OPEN, however, NONE of the Greenway Trail is open!!.

We will be meeting on the North side of Boston right by the Left Hand overflow parking lot - see you all tomorrow at 5.30pm :).

Let me add, Sunset St IS OPEN between Diagonal/Nelson and Boston Ave, it is closed North of Boston Ave!. - So No access from 3rd Ave via Sunset, take Bowen or Gay South instead!.

I'll be in Denver tomorrow and may not get back in time for the ride. If I'm not there at the ride start time, don't wait for me.

Any thoughts for the indoor cycling season?

Well with next week being the LAST Spin ride of the year - booo, we may switch our attention to a once a week Breakaway Spin class ;). Their Fall/Winter Schedule does include a 60 minute class every evening Mon-Thurs, with Thurs being a Video and music class.

I figured out the best way to ride and keep up with all of you - drink beer BEFORE the ride. Then you can't feel the lung burn and leg-splitting pain!
