WHAT: The evenings have plenty of light now for the weekly WEDNESDAY 20-25 mile ride. Route information will be announced in the comments section below.
22 mile route south towards Erie then back via CR1 and 119th St.
Depending on how many riders and/or ride leaders, we will ride in 2 or 3 groups:
GROUP Abici: This group will be at a faster pace (17 to 19mph average).
GROUP Basso: This group will be at a medium/fast pace (15 to 17mph average).
GROUP Cinelli: This group will be at a medium pace (13 to 15mph average).
This ride is best suited for Road Bikes, and people with experience riding on the road with traffic.
Both Rides will be "NO DROP", we will try to keep everyone together, but in the event some are faster/slower, we will stop and re-group at intervals.
RIDE NOTES: Rides roll out no more than 5 minutes after advertised start time, arrive early and be ready to roll on time.
- Come prepared for mechanical breakdowns (bring spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, multi-tool).
- Be sure to bring enough water for the length of the ride, especially with warmer weather ahead of us. As a general rule, one bottle of water is good for 1 hour of riding (8oz per 20 mins of ride time).
