The annual St. Louis Libertarian Party Picnic will be on Saturday, September 13.

All are invited to join the St. Louis County Libertarian Central Committee for its annual picnic. The burgers, etc., are on us, but bring something if you like. This will be an informal social event -- an opportunity to meet candidates, learn about the party, talk politics with other freedom lovers, and maybe work in some horseshoes or volleyball.

When: September 13th, noon-4pm

Where: Castlepoint Park in Jennings, 2465 Baroness Dr.

What: The basics (burgers and dogs, etc.),. Covered dishes or other
treats welcome, but all you really need to bring is yourself.

    For Tom W.- IF this is the same park (and the same shelter in said park) that the picnic has been at the past few years, it is a very kid friendly place. Right beside the playground, open space, and wooded area that is part of the "disc golf" course. restrooms nearby. I don't know my south county geography very well, and thought that we were in Sunset Hills. Any help from those who know the area better? Is this the same park?
