Music Box Stairs Walk Starting at Lamill

Since the Law and Order Epic has been canceled, I figured we would do one of The Big Parade's practice walks, The Music Box Stairs Walk, aka Silver Lake 1.

Normally the Music Box Walk would start near the Music Box Steps, but parking in the area is bad.  So instead, we'll start at Lamill Coffee.

Meeting Time:

Please arrive at Lamill by 1pm for introductions

Walk will start promptly at 1:15 pm!!

Walk will take about 2 hours.

Meeting Place:

1636 Silver Lake Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90026

There is free parking on West Silver Lake Blvd.- the signs say no parking after 11pm, and other streets east and west of Silver Lake Blvd.

Paid street meter parking on Silver Lake Blvd.

We will go at a moderate pace.  Not too fast or too slow.

We will wait for people to catch up at the top of the bigger staircases like Swan, Landa and Micheltorena.

If you aren't able to keep up with the group, you are on your own to get back to the starting point.

No crashers- Please sign up for this event.  Please do not just show up.

RSVP limits are set, because I don't want a huge group on these walks.  So, if you RSVP only for yourself, don't bring a guest.

Please keep your RSVP updated and current.  Repeated No Shows may lead to members being removed from the group.

There usually are no restrooms along these walks. Restrooms are usually only available at the starting point of the walks.

Always bring plenty of water.

Always wear running/tennis shoes. Open toed shoes are not a good idea for these stairs walks.

Any questions or concerns please email me, David.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
