3-D video and Hologram Hacker Night featuring Sikorsky and Micoy

Micoy Corporation is a technology company and a leader in the field of panoramic 3D  imagery. Their patented core IP is a breakthrough in 3D optics, allowing the viewer to literally  step inside a 3D movie, simulation or experience. All other applications of 3D imagery have  been restricted to flat screen projection or limited stereo in immersive dome displays. This is due  to limited fields of view, and minimal flexibility and constraints of standard 3D optics. Micoy offers a full 360 degree field of view providing a complete 360-3D image/environment.

Their background is from Hollywood and Academia.  They are finalists in the latest Sikorsky Challenge --

And they are coming to Hacker Night on 4/27 to demo their technology to everyone.

They will be bringing an 8-foot dome tent and showing off their immersive, 3-D Video experience.  Should be a lot of fun.

Please join us, and come early to reserve your place in line to experience the Micoy 3-D platform!

We are always excited to see our Hacker Night friends each week. Hacker Night is the perfect space for technologists, marketers and investors to meet and mingle. Each evening features a presentation from a company sharing its success story, lessons learned, or simply exposure for an innovative product or idea. After the presentation, short intro's are in order followed by food, drink and a night of networking. Participants range from students to career veterans, with the common thread being they are all willing help one another other to break through barriers, find partners, solutions and help build our innovation ecosystem. To make it easy to look for and find each other, please add your profile, and any opportunities you would like to share on hackersocial.com, and be sure to register here. The evening promises to be fun, informative, serendipitous and weekly draws 30+ great local people.
