cold spring constitution marsh and beyond

low tide is at 8:30 am so we launch at 9:30...not in the parking lot at 9:30---in the water at 9:30 or we go without you.

high tide is at 2:15 pm so we should be out by 12:30. , look at the photo above , if the water level is too high we can't get under the tressel.

we can have lunch after we get out of the marsh, then decide if any want to take a run on the hudson.

we will try to get to the waterfall and might stop at jim's walk.

this is a notice to anyone who is new...
the outings i am trip leader on is show and go. if you show up---wecome aboard, if you are not there--well i guess we go without you. i can't always have my cell nearby, i almost left in on my deck at launch time too many times, but you can try to call me if you are going to be late.
i don't make money on these outings, in fact it costs me. the object is to have good kayaking adventures with good people. villians, rouges and skallywags are not welcome. instruction and advice is freely given--at no cost

-0.46 feet Low at 8:30 AM length is not an issue, but since high is at 2:15 pm we need to be out of there well before high to pass under the tressle.
thats where i would be concerned about a canoe.
the 15th is a full moon, a spring tide so its gonna be high.if we don't get out by 12:30 we might need to stay till the tide drops, and i figure there might be a muntiny, i like my neck just fine and i don't need that part of my anatomy stretched.
