General Responsibilities:

The Customer Support Representative - MoneyGram Online (CSR-MGO) will act as the first point of contact for customers using MoneyGram Online products and services, providing timely and professional information and issue resolution relating to basic customer service inquiries regarding account set-up, account logon, profile modification, password reset, product questions and general assistance associated with MoneyGram Online websites.

Additional responsibilities include:

o Analyzing data to determine root cause and provide solutions
o Monitoring evolving fraud threats
o Reporting suspicious customer activity to the Transaction Security team
o Notifying departmental system administrator of technical system issues


Skills & Experience Required:

~ Bilingual Skills Required - English PLUS one of the following languages: German, French, Italian, or Spanish (read, write, speak fluently in these languages as well as English)
~ High school diploma or GED (required)
~ 1 year customer service / call center experience (desired)
~ Previous experience with on-line, ACH and Credit Card transactions (desired)
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
~ Strong problem solving ability (required)
~ Adapts easily to change (required)
~ Proficient keyboarding, PC, and internet skills (required)
~ Experience with MS Office (desired)
~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high call volume environment (required)
~ Enjoy answering customers' inquiries and problem solving (required)
~ Enjoy working as a team (required)
~ Detail-oriented (required)
~ Excellent attendance and adherence to daily schedules is required in order to be successful in the job (required)
~ Able to type 20-30 words per minute (required)
~ Must be able to work evenings and weekends (shift differential is paid for evenings, nights and weekends). The call center provides customer support 24 hrs per day, Monday through Sunday. All incumbents should have the flexibility to work varying shifts as business needs dictate. Further, incumbents must be flexible, able to respond to changing business needs, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. (required)
