FULL MOON PADDLE AUG 8th AT PADDLE UP

  • Aug 8, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us at 7:00pm at Paddle UP on Aug 8th for our monthly full moon paddle. We will launch at 7:30ish and paddle on the river watching the moon rise. We will be back at Paddle UP by 9:00ish. Some of us will go over to Blue Moon for a beverage after the paddle. MUST BRING LIGHTS!!!! Coast Guard requires we have a rear white light, we have also learned we use head lamps for some of the paddle to see where we are paddling. This has been a popular paddle so if you need a board go on line and reserve a board. www.paddleuptn.com Cost of the evening is $30.00 which includes paddle, pfd, board and leash. There is no cost to those who purchased their boards from Paddle UP. If you are bringing a board you purchased elsewhere there is a 10.00 launch fee. Hope you can join us.

I've only gone paddle boarding once before, but I absolutely loved it and want to get involved here! Is this an ok event for a newcomer?

What kind of lights do you suggest and where can we get them?

Go to REI or a store like that and get a head lamp. We wear them backwards. Sounds funny but works
