Bitcoin Hackathon/Open Coworking (March 15)

  • Mar 15, 2014 · 11:30 AM
  • 3000 Sand Hill Road

Are you working on a bitcoin project?

2 weekends ago I ran a bitcoin hackathon. It turned into a small bitcoin coworking session instead, which was even better (people working on their existing projects).

The cool projects from two weeks ago:

- A blockchain analysis tool that allows for identification of transaction paths in between two addresses (think six degrees of separation)

- A bitcoin exchange (the creator had basically finished it), along with a new coin

- A tool to list and categorize bitcoin projects, backed by a public github repository as a database (using github almost like a wiki)

Bring your project, or your project ideas, and come and build! This is a **building** focused event, talking and meeting people is still encouraged but I'd like to reassure you that this will be a productive event.

Chipotle will be provided, for free for the first 5 that arrive!

Sat 15th March. 11.30am-6pm.

Not sure who is running this, but my company can potentially sponsor the next 5 chipotle orders.

I'd love attend but the Berkeley I School's InfoCamp unconference, which I'm an organizer of, is the same day.
