Experience the adventure, pageantry, magic and romance of medieval times. Green Hill Park will be transformed into a spectacular display of history full of entertainment, eccentric characters, swordplay, equestrian antics, magicians, music, crafts, merchants and hearty food and drink. New this year, enjoy performances by Celtic dancers. Back by popular demand, admission will be FREE to anyone who comes dressed in garb!
The fair will be held on Saturday, September 28th from 10am-6pm and Sunday, September 29th from 10am-5pm. The Highland Games are Saturday ONLY. There is a masquerade ball on Saturday at 4:30pm.
Directions: From Interstate 81, take exit 137. Turn right onto Wildwood Road at end of ramp. Go to the traffic signal and turn right onto West Main Street. Proceed to the third traffic signal and turn left onto Diuguids Lane. Cross railroad tracks and the Roanoke River. Park entrance is a short distance on the right.
