Hello all! Our Christmas party was previously scheduled at 419 West, but the number of people who want to attend greatly outnumbered the space we had at the restaurant. In an effort to include everyone (because I love you all SO much!), I've decided to change the location of the Christmas party to another local restaurant that can provide a seat for everyone. I hope that’s okay.
I think almost everyone has been to Blue 5 before. It's a great restaurant and bar downtown with an excellent craft beer selection and something on the menu to please everyone. I do hope that you can make it!
I’ve reserved the Mezzanine, the open air 2nd floor, for our group starting at 5:30pm. We can eat dinner leisurely and enjoy each others’ company before the music starts playing later and it gets loud. Music that night will be provided by the Andy Poxon Band—he’s a 17 year old guitar and vocal phenomenon with bright red hair who plays everything from jazz to rockabilly to country.
I thought it would be fun if we did a silly Christmas gift exchange. No one is obligated to participate, but if you would like to, simply buy a gag gift for less than $10. PG-rated please! We’ll draw numbers and swap gifts at the party.
