Hello Jack,
I understand that my use of the term "immigrant english" in my last reply to you, which to my shock also went out to members of the food business start up meetup group, was taken by you and a few others as offensive. ?Having talked with you today and hearing the hurt in your voice I can understand how that is. ?
In that memo I was trying, and I did so awkwardly at best, to make the point that english not being your first language was coming through in your written documents and that I might be able to assist you in editing emails or more complex documents before they went out to assist your business by helping you to put your most polished shoe forward to potential clients. ?I meant no offense but I offended you and perhaps even others and for that I feel rather contrite and I offer you here
in writing the sincere apology I gave you over the phone when we spoke a few moments ago.
Considering that my food businesses in the past have, in the present still do, and in the future likely will, still involve working with people who speak english, if at all, as their second language, it is helpful that I be sensitive to what kinds of phrases are taken as offensive. ?Thanks for reminding me to not play so fast and loose with my own first language around such a subject. ?Again, I meant nothing pejorative by what I said, but it was rude indeed, and I've learned an important lesson from this unfortunate exchange.
Good luck with your Meetup group, perhaps we'll bump into one another at Trieste soon.

Hello all, This Wed will be our first meetup under the new style. We would have about an hour for seminar followed with discussion, and then I would give 15 mins private consulting time to everyone attended the meeting. This meeting would be about different type of food business, and different requirement for them. So, you can check your readiness, on capital, skills, time requirement, etc.
Then on your private 15 mins time, you can ask question on your own situation. After that, we will be touring around the North Beach area, one of the most money-making scene in San Francisco. They got local, and tourist. They got
serious, high class eateries, casual cafes, deli store, clubs, bars, pizza restaurant, and deliveries and some non-Italian theme ethnic food, and they are right next to China town, and successfully manage to face the price competition of those inexpensive Chinese food.
So, if you are interested please sign in. There is a cost of $10, if you pay online, and cost for $12, if you pay at the meetup. Hope to see you Wed. Best, Jack
