In this session we will be exploring what it takes to be an "authentic" entrepreneur. What exactly does that mean you ask. It is well known that many entrepreneurs sprout up during a down economy. Some are authentic while others are simply "wantrepreneurs".
Lots of entrepreneurs and wantrepreneurs tend to push folks toward their ideas instead of listen to opinions and insights. Admittedly, a great deal of personal development is needed to be the best cut-throat, single vision entrepreneur/ individual you can be. Before embarking on the entrepreneurship journey, we must first explore our passions, our drive and what gets us up every morning.
Our speakers for this event will be Biz Debnath, COO at MBSS Inc and Monika Wiela, owner of Styleupgirl.com
MBSS is a internet fashion retailer focused on building brand awareness through excelling in consumer experience and intimacy. As the COO, responsibilities include key driving revenue through maximizing traffic and conversation rate. In addition managing inventory turns and customer service.
Styleupgirl transforms womens looks and takes it to the next level at an affordable price. Our collection of shoes (our babies) can take you from the boardroom, to a roof top lounge, or city hall.
We will also be giving a brief introduction of the Lean Startup Business generation model. In depth discussions about concepts of MVP's (minimal viable products), UVP's (unique value propositions), and the iterative process are planned for the upcoming weeks.
Hope to see you there!
