Speakers' Bio:

Seth Oranburg, an Associate in the Corporate group with Fenwick & West, advises technology, internet, software, hardware and life sciences companies. His practice includes start-up counseling, merger and acquisition transactions, venture capital financings and corporate governance. Seth also manages antitrust issues that arise in conjunction with his clients’ mergers and acquisitions.

Matthew Hodgen, CEO of Macian Wealth Management, has been actively involved in start-up companies and corporate development since 1997.  Throughout those years, he has held such positions as Director, VP, COO, CEO and President.   In addition to serving as CEO of Macian Wealth Management, Matthew travels around the country speaking on topics such as Real Estate, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Manager Selection, etc.

Shannon Lydell Carter, an entrepreneur and business builder, has over 20 years of corporate development, marketing, interim management and capital acquisition experience in the software, Internet, communications, mailing/logistics and financial services industries. As an active investor and co-founder, Shannon mentors SF based startup and SMB software entrepreneurs.  Currently an Investor and Advisor at both Blazestage, Property Connect Inc, and Co-Managing Partner at Golden Gate Angels Group as well as Co-Founder and Chief Strategist at True Game Companies, one of Shannon's accomplishments include scaling 8 early-stage technology companies through high growth and profitable exits.
