Introduction

My name is Shea and I have been living in the Evanston community for 8 years now. For the last several years I have worked at small startups and now that I have finished business school I am ready to start my own venture.

What are you working on?

I am working on a business to help people and organizations manage their experiments. Most companies don't have a way to organize or store the knowledge they gain from experimentation. The lack of control means that important discoveries are not fully utilized.

What do you expect to gain from the group?

I am open to learn as much as I can from a group of entrepreneurs. My weaknesses are sales, finance, and advertising so I will be seeking information on those subjects in particular. I am also looking for office and work space.

What can you add to the group?

I have made my career by focusing on technology. Technology has allowed me to work in a diverse range of fields from higher education to children's entertainment, to high frequency trading. I am happy to share any technology strategies or methods that I have learned over the years.
