Exit Interview: Paul Connor, Network of Angel Organizations - Ontario

Join us June 27 when we welcome Paul Connor, President and Executive Director, of Network of Angel Organizations - Ontario.

For four years Paul Connor has been helping make Angel investing better in this country.  In progressively more senior roles, most recently as the Executive Director of the Network of Angel Organisations - Ontario, he has seen and heard it all.  Under Paul's leadership the number of active Angel organisations in Ontario has expanded from 8 to 24.  Working with Bryan Watson, Executive Director of the National Angel Capital Organisation, Paul has been in the inner circle of every major Angel industry event in Canada during all of that time.

We are catching Paul in his last days with NAO - Ontario, as he prepares to enter graduate school in the fall.  Please join us for this free wheeling Exit Interview.  A chance for Paul to share a few stories from over the last 4 years, share some tips and speculate about what the local angel investing environment might look like 5 years hence.

Good insight from Paul and pointed answers to a number of questions from attendees. More metrics would have been good - can we get hold of the annual report when it comes out?

What is the most popular liquidation preference among the angel community in Ontario these 3 recent years?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
