Launch Event for Startup Santa Barbara and Startup California

Good News Startups - Quick Pitches have been added to the event this evening!

These will be more of an update to the community than an actual pitch.  Rapid 3 minutes, no projector, just a quick introduction in roughly the following format:

Introduce Yourself
Where You are From
Company or Product Name
Company or Product Description
Stage of Development
How can we help? (mentors, investment, developers, try product, feedback, etc)
Upcoming milestones or events?

If you or your startup is interest in doing a Quick Pitch, simply comment below or signup when you arrive.  Spots are limited due to timing constraints.

I'd love to talk about my startup, ParentSquare. ParentSquare is a communication platform for schools to help parents stay informed and involved. It has been adopted by many schools in SB county and we are now looking to expand outside of Santa Barbara.

Sign me up to give a quick pitch for my startup, BuildZu. We are building a SaaS marketing tool for residential contractors. Imagine if Angieslist, ServiceMagic and a contractor's "brochure" website all had a baby....and that baby was way smarter and better looking than it's dysfunctional parents. That's what we're up to in a nutshell. I'll share more during my three minutes tonight. Looking forward to the event.

My team, RemixReplay, won Startup Weekend San Diego last night with an HTML5 game that allows real-time drag-and-drop customization and sharing of remixed games. I'd love to represent my team with a short pitch. We are seeking investors and mentors.

I'm truly excited tonight. My services are for small businesses, especially those with positive social impact. Besides marketing, I help business in growth mode to determine potential funding and prepare for investors. I also have an online radio show called Socially Conscious Investing. Gideon Rubin, a founder for StartUp Santa Barbara, was just interviewed. Listen today as a preview:

I have two startups that both provide positive motivational items to help those who are overweight and or obese begin to take steps to develop
more healthful lifestyles. I am working with a web design/seo company
to spread my concepts throughout this country. Both sites will be bilingual and provide very simplified content for those less educated while providing links to Lancet and other technical information.

Your in put would be greatly appreciated in whatever form.
