Speakers: Eric Ries, Ari Gesher, Wyatt Jenkins

Lean Startup methods are obviously applicable among young companies and teams that are looking to reduce uncertainty for new products. Once you've hit product-market fit, though, it's tempting to shift out of the learning mode and focus fully on execution. But that invites a boom-and-bust cycle and prevents maturing organizations from finding steady sources of growth.

Eric Ries will talk with two Lean Startup Conference speakers about the challenges of scaling a learning organization: Wyatt Jenkins, VP of Product at Shutterstock, a stock photo site that has become one of the world’s largest two-sided marketplaces, and has expanded since its founding in 2003 from a single development team to 12 cross-functional teams spanning all phases of product development; and Ari Gesher, a senior engineer at Palantir Technologies, which specializes in data-mining software for government and financial clients, and has grown since its founding in 2004 to 1,000 employees and an estimated $1B in contracts today. The webcast is free with registration and will include a live Q&A with attendees.

This webcast is produced by The Lean Startup Conference, December 9 - 11 in San Francisco. Visit http://leanstartup.co/ for more information.
