In this 4-hour workshop, you go from half-baked idea to a product people love.

The workshop is divided into three sections:
1. Defining customer needs, identify opportunities, and finding a winning product strategy and MVP
2. Learning and applying UX design principles to create and test your product
3. Validating your product with user testing and metrics

There will be lots of interactive Q&A throughout to address your specific questions as well as time for the instructor to evaluate your specific product idea or design and give you valuable feedback.

Dan Olsen is an entrepreneur and product expert. Dan started his high-tech career managing submarine design and then worked at Intuit where he led product management for Quicken. Dan also led product management at Friendster. Dan was CEO and cofounder of YourVersion http://yourversion.com, a personalized news discovery engine startup that won the People's Choice Award at TechCrunch50. Dan currently consults to companies, usually as interim VP of Product for early stage startups. His prior clients include Facebook, Box, YouSendIt, Chartboost, Epocrates, Ness, VideoGenie, and One Medical Group. Dan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from Stanford.
