Celtic Woman comes to the Ike (PSU's Eisenhower Auditorium) on Wed, March 20.
The enchanting Irish musical ensemble Celtic Woman returns to America for an expansive four-month concert tour, beginning February 21, and following on the heels of the group’s sold-out Christmas Celebration tour. Celtic Woman, which was recently named Billboard magazine’s No. 1 World Music Artist in its year-end issue, comes to Eisenhower Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.
Celtic Woman combines the talents of four gifted Irish women — vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Lambe, and Susan McFadden, plus violinist Máiréad Nesbitt — whose dazzling performances combine the sounds and sensibility of Irish traditional music with memorable original compositions and contemporary pop standards. The 2013 tour boasts an exciting new stage production and the return of such enduring fan favorites as “You Raise Me Up” and “Orinoco Flow.”
Purchase tickets for the Penn State concert, which are $99 for orchestra first four rows, $69 for orchestra rows EE to ZZ and grand tier rows A to K, and $39 for grand tier rows L to P and balcony.
