Warm up with wine & music at the 7 Mountains Winery Campfire Friday Nights

This is the final event of the 7 Mountains Wine Cellars summer Campfire Friday Nights Concert Series.

TIME: It starts at 6pm, (though we should get there before that to assure of getting good seats).

COST: $5 admission.

BRING: Lawn chairs, blankets, picnic & campfire snacks to enjoy the live acoustic music with along with a glass or bottle of your favorite 7 Mountains wine that you can sample at their tasting stations.

NOTE--you can't bring other alcohol in. Only can purchase their wine.

WHERE: The winery is a half hour drive east of State College. So we should probably leave town about 5 or 5:15 to make sure to get there in time to grab a set or section of the lawn near the campfire.

Though we can certainly have a couple of cars go at a couple different times.

It was a great event and I so enjoyed myself. I invited a girlfriend to come along and she had a blast as well.

Had a great time! Looking at the photos and RSVP's I didn't meet half of you (I was around the fire pit).

Was really glad to see about 17 of our MeetUp'ers who RSVP'd did show up to join us. We had a great group around a picnic table and a couple others had seats around a couple of the fire pits. It was an evening of great conversation and camaraderie.

I'm going to have to make my Yes tentative. Took some medication that isn't agreeing with me. Hope to feel better tonight. Don't want to miss this!

Thanks guys. Still feeling dizzy, so wine probably wouldn't be a good idea. See you next time!

If anyone else is looking to carpool one member lives in Boalsburg and said she can take 3 others. So any that want to leave campus at 5:15 we will then head to meet at the Military Museum for any others looking to carpool or who don't want to meet at campus. And we'll look to depart Military Museum at 5:30.

Hi all. Looks like we have a nice large crowd wanting to go on this event. Glad to see so much interest. I'll plan to meet anyone that wants to drive out together at 5:15pm. I can take one other person in my car.

The winery says they usually get about 200 people for their Campfire Friday Nights in the summer though a bit smaller crowd now that high school football and PSU fall football weekends have started. But shouldn't be a problem for our group to still find a place to sit.

I plan to leave campus about 5:30 as its a half hour drive there. If you can meet on campus at 5:15 behind Reber/Henderson bldgs (in the lot near the Alumni Center) Text me at[masked]

Bring your own snacks and lawn chair. They don't' have enough chairs for everyone so make sure to bring your own. its $5 admission. And they have bottles of their wine to sell and have very limited tasting for those who have never had their wines before.
