I'd like to get out there in time to get a seat on the music side of the cafe, (5pm?) have dinner and a beer, and watch the band which starts around 8pm.

As much as I hate to say it, I don't think I can make it tonight as my dad just left and I'm pooped. What else can you do but be happy when a dad decides he just wants to come up to see his daughter? The down side...overload. I hope everyone has a great time and I hope that another one of these music venues pops up again. I really wanted to hear that banjo...

Hi,Hopefully I will meet with you later at Elk Cafe with a friend. However, not sure about making dinner but will try.
Hi everyone....my father came into town unexpectedly and is staying until some time later today. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to make dinner but I do still hope to hear the music. If I can make dinner I will be at the Weis parking lot at 5:30.
Elk Creek says we should be able to get a table for all of us if we get there around 6:15pm, so let's meet up at the Weis parking lot on South Atherton at 5:30pm, decide how to carpool, and head up there by 5:45. I have a dark red Chevy TrailBlazer and will park on the end of the parking lot near Taco Bell. If you can't make it, please cancel your RSVP. See you soon!
I won't be heading down with you guys. I'll already be at EC at 5pm to meet friends, then to the film and back to EC after the film - I'm thinking that will be 7:30ish.
I'll call Elk Creek when they're open and ask what time they recommend we get there to get a table on the music side. The website says they don't reserve tables.

Leaving State College at 5p.? Being there at Elk Creek at 5 sounds a tad early, but whatever... : ) We can probably reserve a table if we want.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
