Greetings Kristen! Welcome to Centre County Travel & Adventure Club! We're looking forward to meeting you and seeing where life takes us! Please feel free to suggest future meetups.
I'm still planning on coming to walk Tucker on Wed...thanks
See you all then
Hi Kristen, I did post that I will be attending the walking session on Wed, of course it will be weather depending....Just not into rain and slop with Tuckers fur! It will be nice to get out to walk him and meet some other people that enjoy walking with their furbabies. :)
Kristen, I saw you run a pet sitting business - I'd LOVE to know more about it. I have a sweet young puppy who is always looking for someone to play with. Are you taking new clients? If so, feel free to email me at [masked]. Thank you!
Hi Kristen! Thanks for joining and that's so great you can just walk all kinds of dogs. I have 2 Great Danes and the younger one needs to meet other dogs besides her sister so I thought a group for walkers would help Look forward to meeting you soon!
Ed at TMO will be holding 3 demo nights. This is for those who want to try out different kayaks and paddles before purchasing one. The dates are Thursday June 7, July 5, and Aug. 2nd. 7PM at Bald Eagle State Park Beach. It's a great opportunity to see what boat suits your interest. I bought my Liquid Logic Remix this way. You'll have a better idea of what you want after Thurday's meet up.
You know about the Dan Barker Weekend April 27-29 in State College, I hope. If not, look at FFRF/Outreach/Events. Please come for any events you can. Let me know [masked]) if you have questions. -- Chuck Berry
Thanks. I have noticed that, but have not had a chance to check out the group yet. I will be walking tomorrow morning, and think I sent a message to the group. I am hoping someone will join us. As well, I have a fundraiser going on tomorrow night at the Spikes.
Super, that's great. If you could please change your RSVP to say, 'coming, will need to rent kayak', that way Maureen will know. Please bring a towel, shoes that can get wet (like sandals or old sneakers), sun block, water, and dry set of clothes just in case. I'll try to post this list for everyone. Thanks!
Hi Kristen, thanks for the email. You are correct, in that Tuesday's hike will be up Spruce Gap which is steeper and longer then last weeks. Unless its really hot and the women want to do something less taxing. Are you interested in the kayak trip on Sunday morning? There are still boats to rent if you'd like to give it a try!
