State Line FreeThinkers - Dec 4th Meetup

The meetup is scheduled for Thursday, Dec 4th, 2008 7 p.m and plans are to hold it every first Thursday of the month.

It is at Panera's Bread at 8300 Mission Rd, Prairie Village as it took place before. Look for a meetup sign on the table, guy with beard & glasses - me IGGY.

We will chat about elections, weather, philosophy, science, religion, current political events, education, medicine, computers, environment, etc (whatever you have in mind, nothing is off limits) - topics are always varied and lively.

We will brainstorm ideas for the group for the year 2009 - a topic of discussion for monthly meetup? Any books you'd like to discuss? Any worthwhile events, exhibits happening in KC or around? Are you aware of any visiting lecturer coming to town? Would you like to have a guest speaker and do you have a suggestion or contacts?

Also, send in your suggestions for activities and if you want to be in charge of any of them in the area where you live.

If someone knows of a nice coffee house along & close to State Line (MO or KS side) let me know. Ideally, it will have a comfortable setting with arm chairs or private area where we can sit for 2-3 hours and just chat about philosophy, world, life, books, politics, science, religion, etc.
