Nicole has been made an assistant organizer (thank you so much Nicole!). She will take over if I am late or cannot attend a meetup, and vice versa.
If you have any issues with the dates/times of our meetups, please let us know under "Scheduling" in the discussions.
This is a smoothie place, so come thirsty. We'll sit at one of the round tables in the back corner.
As for the meetup, we'll start with introductions, followed by a writing prompt, after which we will share them.
We will also discuss our take-home writing prompt (if you would like to participate, you can find it in the discussions). Yes, we will be continuing the "important secret your best friend has entrusted you with" prompt, so visit that thread for the instructions.
After this we can critique each other's current projects. If you have any writing you would like feedback on during this meetup, please upload a copy to the files section for members to download.
Since reading at the meetups seem to consume a lot of time, please upload any files you want reviewed. Files should be posted at least 24-hours prior to the meetup.
Files can be a maximum is 10,000 words per meetup, though it would be understandable if some members don't have time to read that complete amount.
Please check for files prior to the meetup so we can all discuss them. If members have critiqued your writing, please be sure to return the gesture.
If there are any issues, please text me (Sophia) at (347) 729-9071. Hope to see you there. :)
****Margaret and I (Sophia) have posted our Take-home writing prompts in the discussion thread of the same name. (Click on discussions; click on Take-Home Writing Prompt, you will find our stories in the replies). Please review them before the meetup.
######### S posted her prompt (Oh, yes I did), and a story she would like critique on (Border Lines) in the files section, so please review these files before the meetup as well.
If anyone else has writing they would like discussed at this meetup, please upload it ASAP.
