Meetings times, frequency, etc.

Hi everyone,

I've scheduled the next meeting - a presentation by Bjørn Hell Larsen on the PDP-10 - for Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 19:00. Are mid-week, 19:00 meetings OK with everyone? Would you prefer earlier in the day, on a Friday, or something like that? I'm eager for any feedback so that we can accomodate the most people.

Also, you'll notice that we're skipping December. But in general how often are people interested in meeting? Practically speaking I think that monthly is about as often as we can do, and it probably won't be possible to get speakers more often than every two months, at least for the meanwhile. Are people interested in getting together for less structured meetings, just sharing a few beers and talking? We could certainly manage that on a monthly basis.

I'll try to not to let this become "scheduling by committee", but I'll take everyone's input into account. Thanks!

Austin
