Mid Week Fast Paced - 5 Mile Shell Ridge Loop - Rated Moderate Cardio Hike

       The Discovery Hikers are trying out a Midweek Morning local hike over to Shell Ridge in Walnut Creek this week. Were Meeting at 10 am at the trailhead at the end of Marshall dr . If you want a good workout and share some great company , we'll be hiking a 5 mile loop that is Moderate in difficulty with several sections of somewhat steep up and downhill.

       NOTE  :   This will be a little faster pace than our usual weekend hikes, Good Cardio workout with .Approx. 700 feet of elevation change along wide fire trails and some single track . This hike is not a beginners hike . please check our calendar for lesser challenge events .

        The Organizers are recommending to wear sturdy hiking boots ,bring hiking poles if you use them and plenty of water for the 2 hour route . Dogs that are well behaved are welcome on this trail .

        With enough interest we may include these hikes on a regular weekly basis .
