It was pretty crazy there early with the Star Wars tournament, then the Formula De events. The regular RPG groups were present playing FATE, Pathfinder, Burning Wheel, and Star Wars. In the mid-afternoon, I was able to sit down to learn and play Sentinels of the Multiverse card game, an interesting little Kickstarter project. As a team of comic book heroes, we had to defeat the Atlanteans. I then taught one person to play Race for the Galaxy and then Ryan, who already knew how to play, joined us for a three player game where we were thuroughly trounced by the newbie. Later, Dave (Starwolf), Lois, Mike and one other joined for a five player game of Ad Astra. Lois and her friend were new to Ad Astra, and we got started quite late and were unable to finish the game as it was then after 11 p.m. Thanks to James (Etarnon) for his patience regarding my late packing up of the store. I think Dave won the abbreviated Ad Astra game, which would have probably ended in one more turn anyway.

Lots of people showed up for the X-Wing event and throughout the day -- even with nice weather. :)

I have canceled Conspiracy X. Multiple people have asked me to instead run Indiana Jones RPG by West End Games. I am thus posting the signup dfor it. I will also be running Tide of Iron World War 2 Minis, next time on April, 13th.

Is there anything I should know about this space and/or how to get to the where you will be gaming. It looks like a large place. If I come later will there still be people playing 4pm-6pm ish?

if you have GPS then it's easier to get there. Once you cross the bridge slow down. Inside the convent area there is a 5 Miles per hour speed limit, go very slow. Ususally you can paerk on the structure on the right, sometimes it is closed. walk down the hill on the left as you face the building. the door is across the street on the right from the small picnic area / pavillion on the left. go into the door straight through, not up the stairs. You'll see peiople there. It is open from about 10 until about 11 PM. There are games going all Day. Chuck runs the game store table, I sometimes help him, but I also run Events. I play Star Wars in the evening 6-11 Slot. Good luck, see you there.

I forgot to say, when you enter the compound area of the buildings keep following the road on the right side until it sort of dead ends at a wide parking lot. If you get stuck or lost, ask.

I am hoping to teach and play Race for the Galaxy at GASP Game Day. If you have played Eminent Domain and liked it, you may want to try Race for the Galaxy. ED bears some vague similarity to RFTG, however, Race for the Galaxy is more complex. I am also bringing Core Worlds (a Deck Building card game) to play if I have time, and maybe I'd like to teach the Lyssan board game again.

I decided to bring Ad Astra board game instead of Lyssan, since it is easier to teach and I am apparently doing a sci-fi space themed month. Plus I have to rebag the pieces in Lyssan before next transport, and I don't have time to do it. Ad Astra is one my favorite board game designs.
