Ukulele players of all skill levels are invited to come and Jam at Hambone's Pub. Come to sing along, or even just to watch.  These Jam sessions will repeat on the 2nd Sunday of each month, so mark your calendars now.

We start to play at 5 pm and continue until 7 pm.  Come early and sample Hambone's menu; meet other players over a beverage or just tune up. Plan to arrive by 4 pm (or earlier) in order to finish eating before play starts.  Parking is free on Sundays and there is a city lot across the street from Hambone's.

The format of these Jams includes starting with easier songs from "The Daily Ukulele:365 Songs," playing additional "365" songs and then moving into the leader's play list. Participant recommendations are played, along with any new songs you want to present.

Bring the "Daily" book, a music stand, and 20 copies of any music you want to play. The goal is to have fun, improve your uke skills and meet people with a similar interest.

A play list will be published here prior to the Jam. If possible, you should print any songs that you don't already have.

Sign up now to attend this "Jam."  See you at Hambone's.

Thanks to Adam for his mellow version of Nat King Cole's "Frim Fram Sauce". I liked it a lot!

Lyrics are a bit of a puzzle--I guess you use your imagination. Great tune. NKC and Diana Krall do it on Utube.

Michelle Benson often sings 'Frim Fram' around here as a raunchy up-tempo grabber when the crowd is loud. People love it too.

    Fun evening at Hambone's.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I sure had fun "folkin'" around with this song list. Great group jam at Hambones.

I'm excited about the "Folk Revival" theme for the jam on the 14th. I tried to pick some songs that were representative of artists from that era and that would be familiar to most of you. All of the above can be found on YouTube in some form or another if you want to listen to a song before you try to play it

I am hoping that you will bring your favorite folk song to share with the group. Jams like this are all about having fun and enjoying the company of friends old and new. I looking forward a great turnout for this event.
