2nd Sunday Jams at Hambone's Pub

PLAY LIST NOW INCLUDED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Ukulele players of all skill levels are invited to come and Jam at Hambone's PubCome to play ukulele, sing along, or even just to watch. We play from 5-7 pm.

Come early and sample Hambone's menu; meet other players over a beverage or just tune up. Parking is free on Sundays and there is a small city lot across the street from Hambone's.

The format of these Jams includes starting with easier songs from "The Daily Ukulele:365 Songs," playing additional "365" songs and then moving into the leader's play list. Participant recommendations are played, along with any new songs you want to present.

SCU has built an impressive list of songs over the past few years and I think that it would be a shame to not use that list even as we add new songs.  Therefore, this month's  jam at Hambone’s will begin with the following songs from the song list on the Meetup site.

The "Alphabetical" song page has been changed! Please get instructions HERE to get all the music.  We have also created a large PDF with all tunes HERE.

Hey Good Lookin’

This Train Is Bound for Glory

Bottle of Wine

All I Have to Do/Bye Bye Love

Don’t Worry Be Happy

Where Have All the Flowers Gone (key of G)

Please bring your 365 book to help choose additional songs for the group.

NEW FOR 2014! OPEN MIC 6:30-7:30 pm.  The December jam at Hambone’s had an impressive open mic session which I am hoping we can duplicate this month.  If you or a group of you would like to show us what you’ve been working on we will make time for that in the second half of the session.  Don’t be shy, you’re among friends who want to hear you. Remember, Playing the ukulele is all about having fun!  Hope to see you on the 12th.

Bring the "Daily" book, a music stand, your printed "play list" and 20 copies of any music you want to add. The goal is to have fun, improve your ukulele skills and meet people with a similar interest.

Hello, I've never been to any SCU events and would like to know if younger players are welcome?

Mr Kite: You are quite Welcome at any of our Meetups. The WSCC (a neighborhood community center) is friendly to all ages, but please be aware that Hambone's is a restaurant, with an attached bar. Please make sure that your parents are aware if you plan to be at Hambone's alone.
