2nd Sunday Jams at Hambone's Pub

Ukulele players of all skill levels are invited to come and Jam at Hambone's PubCome to play ukulele, sing along, or even just to watch. We play from 5-7 pm.

Come earlier and sample Hambone's menu; meet other players over a beverage or just tune up. Parking is free on Sundays and there is a small city lot across the street from Hambone's.

The format of these Jams includes starting with easier songs from "The Daily Ukulele:365 Songs," playing additional "365" songs and then moving into the leader's play list. Participant recommendations are played, along with any new songs you want to present.

PLAYLIST:  I apologize for the delay in posting this list, organizational impairment strikes again!

We will start our jam as usual with a few easy songs from 365 and then move on to the following Valentine-ish list:

From 365:

I’ll be seeing you

Save the Last Dance For Me

Brown Eyed Girl

Love Me Tender

That’s Amore’

(There are many more Valentine appropriate songs in 365, your input will be greatly appreciated.  Pick a few that you’d like to do with the group and be ready to shout them out.)

From the SCU Meetup List:

As time Goes By

Drop Baby Drop

Making Love Ukulele Style (Drew’s Version)

Oh Boy

You Belong to Me (key of D)

newly added to the list:

Please Help Me I’m Falling

I’m in the Mood For Love

Will you still Love Me Tomorrow

I’m looking forward to a great open mic session.  I hope that lot’s of you have something prepared to do either solo or in a group.  It is so much fun to get up in front of a group of friends and show your stuff.  We'll love it no matter what & it's good for the soul!  I can't wait to see you all on Sunday.   DREW

NEW FOR 2014! OPEN MIC 6:30-7:30 pm. We will set up a mic for anyone who would like to perform.  This is a great supportive space to show the group what you have been working on!

Bring the "Daily" book, a music stand, your printed "play list" and 20 copies of any music you want to add. The goal is to have fun, improve your ukulele skills and meet people with a similar interest.

Sign up now to attend this "Jam."  See you at Hambone's.

A small but enthuastic group singing Valentinish songs. Clint on the harmonica was an asset, I enjoyed hearing the fills and riffs. Bad weather doesn't keep me away. :-)

Drew is amazing that he comes all the way from Edinboro to lead our jams! I am so sorry I missed his great playlist and a good time! Better weather is right around the corner.....

Great playlist and leadership from Drew. As always the food & service were stellar. Sorry that many missed out because of the bad weather.
