2nd Sunday Jams at Hambone's Pub

Ukulele players of all skill levels are invited to come and Jam at Hambone's PubCome to play ukulele, sing along, or even just to watch. We play from 5-7 pm.

Come earlier and sample Hambone's menu; meet other players over a beverage or just tune up. Parking is free on Sundays and there is a small city lot across the street from Hambone's.

The format of these Jams includes starting with easier songs from "The Daily Ukulele:365 Songs," playing additional "365" songs and then moving into the leader's play list. Participant recommendations are played, along with any new songs you want to present.

PLAYLIST

Hi All

Goodness, time is flying by and I almost missed posting a song list for the November 9 Hambone’s Jam.  Attendance at Hambone’s has been rather sparse the last few times, let’s see if we can get a nice crowd out in November.  I’ll be there regardless.

Non 365: These can be found on the Meetup site files section
Chickens in Paradise
Five pound of Possum
When the Wagon was New

From 365:
Ain’t Misbehavin’
All Of Me
Over the River
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Red Rubber Ball
King of the Road
Let It Be Me

From 366:
Act Naturally
Tea for Two
Where Have All the Flowers Gone
Twilight Time
San Francisco Bay Blues
Move It on Over
I’ll Never Find Another You
Hey Good Lookin’

Once we have played all of these songs we will go with participant choices. We have been projecting the song sheets on to the big screen at Hambone’s which has proven helpful to some.

NEW FOR 2014! OPEN MIC 6:30-7:30 pm. We will set up a mic for anyone who would like to perform.  This is a great supportive space to show the group what you have been working on!

Bring the "Daily" book, a music stand, your printed "play list" and 20 copies of any music you want to add. The goal is to have fun, improve your ukulele skills and meet people with a similar interest.

Sign up now to attend this "Jam."  See you at Hambone's.

Drew did a great job of leading. We had an energetic collection of players. The beer was cold and the food was tasty.
