Hi, All!

I am in the market for super quality tenor to use for teaching and playing. After talking to James Hill @ Ashokan, I am after something "all wood and handmade". I can't go for a MM--the pro dream uke is just too expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions?

And yes, I definitely want a tenor. :)

This reply is from Nancy:

Tampa Bay Ukulele Getaway TBUG showcased a lot of experienced performers.

Greg Hawkes and Gerald Ross play ukuleles from Dave Talsma http://davetalsma.com...

Ross also plays a resonator uke from Mya Moe. See http://www.myamoeukul...

One woman from Michigan had an unusual rounded instrument which she loved. Hand made in Washington. See

testimonials at http://www.griffinuku...

Augustino Loprinzi is often mentioned. He and his daughter come to TBUG with a range of instruments. He lists a dealer in Harmony, PA on his website. Since it is nearby, a call or visit might be worthwhile.
