A Heretic's Guide to Religion: Mormonism

The Pacific Secular Student Alliance is proud to host an engaging, controversial discussion on religion.

San Francisco author, historian, and atheist Dave Fitzgerald takes us behind the “Salt Lake Curtain” for a glimpse at the astounding skeletons rattling around in the closet of the Mormon Church.

This discussion leads into the evolutionary history of religion, explaining the success and popularity of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Don't miss this fun and informative historical romp, not to mention thoughtful and smart-assed.

Concluding the evening will be a question and answer period. Copies of Dave’s new book Nailed: Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed At All will also be for sale ($20, cash only) and will be signed by the author.

FREE ADMISSION; OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Doors open at 6:30, presentation begins at 7:00.

I really enjoyed his talk and the Q&A after. The student group did a great job organizing the event.
