Welcome, Tokyo Magick Practitioners!

From the earliest Medieval and Renaissance grimoires, and until the modern era revival, magickal spirituality always fascinated mankind. The awesome figure of the mage is both inspiring and tremendous. But be warned: this group is not a gathering of new-agy teenagers who just want to boast or show off! We would like to avoid people who just opened an esoteric book, or smoked merry herbs, and pretend to be messiah...

Magick, in the broadest sense, could be considered as any act designed to cause intentional change. It has been compared with an external meditation, where the practitioner instills his psyche into material tools such as swords, candles, incense, etc... Our first meetings were speculative, but we now pursue more operative works related with magical evocations of spiritual entities.

This meetup is best suited for experienced practitioners, but beginners are most welcome. When you sign to this group, please state you experience: knowledge, initiations, kind of practices (if you are beginner simply put it clearly), your motivations, and how long (months, years...) you have been practicing magickal arts. We welcome Japanese speaking members!
