Stoos Roundtable with Jürg Stuker, CEO of Namics

"Leading with Trust - how focussing on People makes a successful Company"

Namics is an inspiring example how a company can be run in a different way - with less centralized management, and more empowered teams and individuals. Going these new ways made the company extremely successful.

To provide a basis for the discussion, we will shortly introduce Beyond Budgeting, a collection of principles that rethink management in the post-industrial world and that happen to describe well how Namics is run. Jürg will then introduce his firm and tell examples how it is organized. Then we will talk about selected principles in detail.

The discussion aims at involving everyone around the roundtable to share experiences and insights, and to create a learning event for everyone curious about different and better ways of doing business.

    Excellent evening. Extraordinarily inspiring.

For me, actually seeing the tools that are used (when Jürg logged in) made the whole evening come to life. It was just so much more real, and tangible.

Now we Stoosians in Zurich can certainly answer the question: "There has to be a better way". Well, quite clearly there is a better way, not just in Handelsbank or the Cooperative or Semco or in Denmark but actually right here, in St Gallen & Zurich with a company of 400 people...

THERE IS A BETTER WAY and it is right here, in front of your nose.

    Thank you Jürg.

ps I think that Jürg can expect some CVs!

First roundtable and - brilliant. Theory is one thing, but getting lessons learned out of the practice first-hand is still the best. Thanks Jürg
