Saturday Gaming @ The Wayward Coffee House

NOTE: Saturday meetups have moved to 3 pm!

Everybody's welcome. Never come to a meetup before? Never tried story games, or for that matter any roleplaying games? RSVP and you'll get to play.

We decide what games we'll play at the meetup. No preparation necessary.

The Wayward Coffeehouse is on Roosevelt and 65th, has wonderful (geeky!) coffee drinks, and serves a variety of sandwiches and pastries. No outside food or drink, please!

Is it to late to get into today's game? And is it youth appropriate? Have two boys who want to play....one 16, the other a Very mature, wise 10.
We want to learn the game. :)

The way the games work is that we decide which games we're going to play at the start of each session, so you can show up as you please. Some of the games we play can deal with pretty mature content; but this is never required, and we're always more than happy to adjust the content to suit the comfort levels of whoever's at the table, regardless of age.

Ach. Apologies; it's been pointed out that I'm in error. The actual policy is that meetups are adults-only, because sorting out content issues around kids has a lot of pitfalls, and is kind of a lot to ask volunteer facilitators to handle. (We have occasionally done this differently at cons in the past, which was what threw me off.) Sorry for misleading you.

I was in the group that played Montegnur, which is a fantastic game but pretty serious. Luckily we had a great group of people and it came off incredibly well.

I'm on my way now. I may be 5-10 minutes late.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
