What We Played: Bacon-wrapped gaming (Munchausen)

This Month's Monthly Monday Munchausen was a raucous success, with a staggering 12-player turn-out. It took quite a while to get through a round, but many juicy tidbits were revealed! For example:

  • Everything is better wrapped in bacon, even peasants.
  • Robots have been invented, but winning their love is not so simple.
  • Even a wholesome tale of an Atlantic cruise can be turned raunchy when Sir Loin is around.

After the first round, the illustrious crowd turned in early. However, afterwards a small group of 6-- I can't believe I'm saying this-- French people snagged their table and swapped tales of their own! It was rude and preposterous! Passion and terrible accents flew wildly about! Here are some examples of the illicit ramblings, although they are no doubt best forgotten by history:

  • Whether a "European style" Frenchwoman or an unshaven gorilla, no one can resist a Frenchman's 4-pronged seduction technique.
  • The cure to any curse is simply to convert the victim to French.
  • Belgium bakers are ridiculously out-classed by French bakers, and it turns out even the famous Belgium waffle is nothing more than a feeble attempt to emulate a French trifle which was baked under numerous handicaps.

    Huzzah! Salud!?
